Schools and Colleges of Traditional Chinese Medicine North American schools of traditional Chinese medicine offer education leading to licensure to practice acupuncture in some states. Most acupuncturists are licensed to use herbs, but extra education is generally required to master Chinese herbalism. Most of these schools offer the basic education as well as supplemental education in Chinese herbalism.
